Funk-O-Rama: SL Relay for Life

As many of you know.. I play an online game that has recieved ALOT of media attention over the past few years.. reaching its goal of having over a million active players. Well.. that's not the only reason it gets attention. The game Second Life (www.secondlife.com) also works as an online community that pulls together for such causes as Toys for Tots and Relay for Life. I was merely a donater last year giving my part because I have lost someone special to me in my life that was taken from my by cancer. He was my dad, Wesley Peters. Well this year, my best friends Phil, Jill and Tambra, have formed a team to collect donations in the on going battle to fight for cancer. Last year, Second Life members helped raise $44,000! This year we want that number to be doubled.. and every little bit helps! Cancer is something that affects the entire nation, even if its 5 dollars.. think of where that 5 dollars is going :))Toge

In our sim, Tu Amor.. we have the Purple Tears the Children Cry rememberance cirlce with Fire of Life pits and pictures of our loved ones that we lost. Feel free to come by and donate into one of our kiosks. Now I know it's a hard thing for some peopel to donate so I made it even easier for you! 4 sets of specialy dyed Purple furniture with some of my best selling items that has several pieces in it.. all for 250l.
