I was visiting my friend Stephanie over at Fashion Victim today.. and this other chick, Ayadi I think.. and she asked me if I had checked out Style Disorder... I'm like not in a few days. We imagine that.. The day I DON'T check it, Canimal Zephyr herself wrote a blog about moi's store!! I know that some designers hate it when you get all gushy about how much you love their stuff.. but I've had a handful of some of my favie's come in that sorta makes you step back a bit! When your just starting off in the world of fashion and design.. to see names like Torley Linden and Canimal Zephyr.. just sorta I think makes you feel validated in how you are doing. I know that sounds totally ridiculus and silly... but I said the same thing to Camie Cooper last nite when she came in who I had the pleasure of meeting! I had my first big break when I met one of my long time idols Swirly Cyclone and her sister or friend or something Ayagi.. as they hit up my store like crazy and then featured me on Fashion Victim and I've heard nothing but positive and amazing things since then :)) So thank you to everyone for ALL the kind words and please check it out http://www.styledisorder.com/blog/2007/03/funkorama.html

I definitely dig your sense of funky colors, Lexi. It was really fun to visit Funk-O-Rama and take pictures.
In particular, I must mention how I like your method of doing pillows: I've seen so many inworld that are bland, mechanical-looking cylinders, but you put on a texture and twisted them a bit to give them that extra *oompf!* of warmth.
In short, we need more pillows like that. Congrats! :D
